POV: It’s July 2025, another Friday of job-search disappointment. I’m doom scrolling in LinkedIn land looking for more job leads when I come across posts of spec work created by students for a copywriting course that my ex colleague is teaching. The brief is irresistible, create a set of ads for #NationalFrenchFryDay. Luckily, McDonalds is right around the block. So I get myself some fries (for inspiration, duh!) and dig in.
Within minutes, I’m messing around on Canva. The result: one of the simplest & most fun work I’ve created lately.
